Wallingford Playfield - Hamilton Middle School Interface
The Hamilton International Middle School renovation provided an opportunity for Seattle Parks and Recreation, in conjunction with the community, to develop and implement a plan for the interface between Hamilton and Wallingford Playfield. With funding from the Seattle School District, Karen Kiest refined and implemented the design. The plan adds approximately 5,625 sq. ft. to the existing Sunken Garden area, and provides a natural amphitheater in addition to the school playground available for community use.
